What is Scór ?

Scór is a competition which is run at county, provincial and All-Ireland level and winners receive the same GAA medals that field sport competitors receive when competing at these levels.

Scór seeks to advance the aspiration of the GAA to actively support the Irish language, traditional Irish dancing, music, song, and other aspects of Irish culture, through a range of competitions at youth and adult levels, designed to encourage

participation, enjoyment, inclusivity and excellence.

There are eight events/disciplines in Scór that cover all aspects of Irish culture:

Scór is divided into two major competitions:

Scór na nÓg - An inter-club competition for those under 17 years.

This competition will be run during March, April and May in 2022.

Scór Sinsir - An Inter-club competition for those 17 years and over.

This competition will be run during August, September and October in 2022.
