Welcome Ukrainian Visitors!

The club was delighted to host Ukrainian families into the heart of the club on Sunday morning and to help them to experience first-hand the ethos of the GAA family, with a chance to meet club members over a cup of tea and cakes, and the children partaking in fun and games.

Club chairman Peter O’Halloran led the welcome with Cathaoirleach of Westmeath County Council, Frankie Keena, who described the event as a “fabulous warm welcome by the people from Garrycastle GAA”
