Dan Hogan was one of the founding members of Garrycastle GAA and served as Vice Chairman on the club's first Executive, and as club chairman in 1984 and 1985. His legacy runs deep and it was Dan's son, Roddy, who proposed the name Garrycastle and the iconic green and red club colours we proudly wear today.
The first Under-12 Girls Dan Hogan tournament will be run in Garrycastle on SATURDAY, JULY 26th.
This inaugural running of the tournament will feature Caltra (Galway), Clann na nGael (Roscommon), Caulry (Westmeath) and Garrycastle, all vying for the honour of being the first winners of the tournament.Â
The organizing committee comprises Ladies Chairperson: Rhoda Costello, Ladies Vice Chairperson: Thomas Duignan and U12 Girls Lead Coach: Jarlath Nohilly.
