Registration for 2024 is now open!

In 2024, the GAA and LGFA will continue to use their new registration system called 'Foireann', which adds a number of new capabilities to what you as a member can do, regarding your club membership.

As well as supporting registration, it also provides a secure messaging platform for team and training communication, and if you are a parent with children in the club, it will allow you to check their team membership, get access to training and match schedules, and much more.

Please note: If you trained or played football in 2020, 2021 or 2022, or if your children trained or played football in 2020, 2021 or 2022, you will already have registered on the 'Foireann' system. If you have forgotten your username and password details, these can be reset on the 'Foireann' system (see below).

The following information introduces the 'Foireann' system, and explains how to register using the system.

1. Login to an Account on Foireann If you previously registered in 2020, 2021 or 2022

2. Creating an Account on Foireann If you did NOT previously have a 'Foireann' account

3. Online Registration, Note that Garrycastle GAA Club has signed up for online payment processing on the new Foireann System, for both GAA and LGFA members.

4. Family Registration If you are registering a Family (one or more adults, and 1 or more children under 18 years of age).

Note: If you have issues with registering, please reach out to the club registrar by email at  registrar.garrycastle.westmeath@gaa.ie with details of your issue, and we will try to respond with a solution as quickly as possible.

Please note that players are not covered by club insurance if they are not registered.

Garrycastle GAA Club membership fees for 2024 are as follows:

• • Adult membership (adult players, Ladies and Men) - €100

  • Adult membership (non-playing) - €50

  • Juvenile/Youth (under 18 years of age) membership - €70 

  • Nursery / Under-6 membership - €50

  • Family membership - €180 (1 or 2 Parent/Guardian, any number of children under 18).
    Note: Adults in Family membership is for Parents and Guardians. An older child cannot be counted as one of the adults.

  • Student membership (Player over 18 years of age who is in full time education) - €70

  • Pensioner membership (over 65 years old)  - €40

  • Social membership - €20

For 2024, Garrycastle GAA Club requests that you pay your Club Membership online when you register in the 'Foireann' system by Credit Card or Debit Card. This is a fully secure and safe online payment system. 

By paying your Club Membership online, you will have your own Account, where full details of your Membership will always be available to you.

If, for any reason, you do not wish to pay online, please contact the Garrycastle Club Registrar, Ger Griffith, by email at registrar.garrycastle.westmeath@gaa.ie  to discuss alternative payment options.

NOTE: As and from  January 1st 2014, ALL players MUST wear gum shields for all matches and training sessions.

Approved gum-shields may be obtained from any sports shop.
