Following on from the huge turnout we had for the annual Garrycastle GAA Club Derek Daly memorial 5km run/walk on St. Stephen’s Day last, the club was extremely proud to present a cheque for €500 to Eddie Ward and Anthony Monaghan representing the local St. Vincent de Paul branch here in Athlone during the week.
Many thanks to all who participated on St. Stephen’s Day, making this donation possible, and it will go some little way to supporting the excellent work of St. Vincent de Paul in the local community.
