Alex Gardiner From Retreat Alex is a student in NUIG Galway. Alex has been great form recently for both our under 21s and senior team and is a very skilful footballer who is highly rated in the club | Jack Donoghue Hails from Coosan, a student in the A.I.T, Jack has proved himself to be a key member of both our under 21 and senior back lines with a number of outstanding displays throughout the season | Eoin Monaghan Eoin or “mono” as he is known is a student in UCD and also a Coosan man. Widely regarded as a very skilful footballer and a key member of our senior team also | Gavin Ward Gavin is a native of Retreat Park and is currently studying in Limerick. Gavin has given us some great performances in defence this year for 21s and the junior team |
Sean Carey From the Elms, Sean is studying in DCU. A regular in the clubs junior team and our only dual star Sean produced some great displays in the back line for us this year | Ronan Donoghue A cousin of Jack and fellow Coosan man, Ronan is a primary teacher in the making. Ronan is a great defender whose pace is a great asset | Justin Barrett Justin a student in Galway, from Coosan is well known on the local Gaa scene for a number of great displays he produced for our senior team in recent times. Justin has been a vital player for us | Paul Gunning From Cartontroy Paul has just qualified from Nuig Galway with a commerce degree. Paul has performed consistently well for this team and the clubs junior team and is a very talented forward. |
Mark Keenan A Moydrum man, Mark is studying in A.I.T. Mark is seen as a promising up and coming goalkeeper in the club | Conor Duignan A student in Mary Immaculate College Limerick and also from Coosan, Conor has performed excellently in all of our games to date. A very versatile player who can cover a variety of positions | Michael Monaghan A brother of Eoin, Michael is heading to college in UCD this year. Similarly to Eoin Michael is a very skilful footballer who is having a fine campaign for both under 21s and seniors | Mark Curley From Valley Court and beginning life as a student in Galway, Mark has carried his form he displayed for the Marist College into both our under 21s and junior sides this year and has potential to really make an impact on the clubs senior team in the coming years |
Sean Gunning A brother of Paul, Sean is a student in A.I.T. Has really given us some great displays in the backline this year with his tenacity and never say die attitude | Jack McGann Jack is a Moydrum man who has represented the club at underage levels to great effect. Another important member of this squad | Evan Dalton From Retreat Park, Evan is hugely talented footballer with great potential. Evan is still a minor also for the club and is a key figure in both this and the minor team | Liam Leahy From the Elms, Liam is also still a minor player. Liam has been a mainstay on underage teams at all grades and also does great work with our underage players |
Cian Hayden Cian a student from Moydrum has been a very consistent performer throughout his underage career with his all action displays both going forward and in defence. Cian has great potential and is a key member of this panel | Frank Farrell From Ballymahon road Frank is well regarded as a very talented defender who was a key figure in the Marist Colleges run to the Leinster final. Frank was unlucky this year with injury and all at the club wishes him well as we are sure Frank will enjoy many more games in the green and red | Eric Kearney Another minor player with huge potential, Eric boasts all the aces to become a top quality footballer and has consistently performed brilliantly for the under 21 team this year | Kenny Dolan Kenny a Garrycastle man is starting out studying in Maynooth. Kenny is a key player on this and the minor team as his ability to kick an important score and bring others into play doesn’t go unnoticed |
Terry Rushe A Ballykeeran man Terry is a very strong footballer with great potential , whose ability to cover a number of positions has been so useful to this team. A key performer also for our junior team | Adam Keena From Moydrum and a Marist college man Adam is one of our younger players who has been performing brilliantly in defence for the minor team. Adam is also a key member of the under 21 panel | Darragh McCormack Darragh another Garrycastle man has caught the eye with a number of displays in both the minor and under 21s team particularly the extra time game v St Marys Rotchfordbridge | Ben Kennedy A native of Cornamagh, Ben has served both the minorm under 21 and junior team excellently this year. Probably the most committed clubman who always gives everything on the field |
Darragh Brody Darragh from Retreat is a solid full back who had had a fine campaign with the minor team. Whilst unlucky with injury in recent weeks Darraghs return to fitness is a welcome boost | Kevin McCormack Hails from Moydrum and also a Marist College student. Kevin is another man who has represented the under 21 team this year despite still being a minor | Mark Duffy Mark is from Ballykeeran is a very skilful footballer and promising player whose ability to run with the ball is a key asset | Shane McEnery From Coosan, Shane has represented both the under 21 and minor team in goal this year. Shanes shot stopping ability has really helped us out this year |
Eoin Duignan Eoin is from Coosan and a brother of Conor. Eoin has proved himself to be an important performer for the clubs minor team | Donal Byrne Donal from Coosan was an important part of last year’s team that reached the minor final. Donal has carried this through to under 21 level this year | Shaun Moran From Coosan Sean is a student in Maynooth.Sean has represented the club very well at all underage levels and is an important member of the under 21 panel | Lee McNamara Lee is from Moydrum and a student. Lee is back playing football this year and we are delighted to have him back as he is a talented defender and has proved a good performer for our under 21 team |
Michael Fagan Michael is the third trainee teacher on the panel and from Moydrum.Michael is a talented goalkeeper and despite being unlucky with a knee injury we are very glad of his contribution to our campaign so far |
