Sports Prediction Game 2013

The Garrycastle GAA Sports Prediction Game 2013 was launched in the clubhouse on Monday evening (February 11th).

The Sports Prediction Game 2013 is a great opportunity for club members and non members to get their friends and work colleagues to take part in an exciting fundraiser for the club.

The Sports Prediction Game 2013 consists of a list of questions on major sports events in 2013 where points will be allocated to each event, highest score at the end wins 1st prize of 300 Euros, additional prizes for club adult and underage players of 100 Euros.

Top scores will be texted to all entries after each event, and posted on our website and facebook pages.

How to enter:
Download the entry form below, fill in your details, and the answers to the questions, and give to any committee member, along with the €10 entry fee.

Rules:
  • Simply guess who you think the winner of each of the 24 sporting events listed will be this year and answer the tie breaker question 25.
  • Get completed form and entry fee of €10 to your seller by the 11th of March 2013.
  • Entries are open to members and non members.
  • Entry forms that are not accompanied by money will not be entered.
  • A leader board will be sent by text after the completion of each event, hence the need to fill in your contact details properly and will also be displayed on Garrycastle website and Facebook page.
  • There will be a cash prize of €300 for the overall winner, plus €50 for Adult and Underage player category winner. If the overall winner is a player he will receive both prizes (€300 & €50).
  • In an event of a tie, Question 25 will be used as a tie breaker, with the closest entry winning. If there is still a tie after the tie breaker the prize money will be split accordingly.
  • Ten points are awarded to each entrant for every question they predict correctly and zero points are awarded if they get that question wrong. A few questions have multiple parts, and therefore entrants can still earn points, even if they only get parts of the question correct.
  • Garrycastle GAA Club Committee’s decision is final.
And the best of luck to everyone!
