Garrycastle U14s played their last game in the league Championship format last Sat evening in Garrycastle and were very convincing winners over The Downs. Right from the off the lads were determined to lay down an early marker and had the game effectively won at half time with Dylan Keegan, Jack Fitzgerald and Ian Carroll in good form in the full forward line supported by some fine runs from midfield from Dara Mulvihill and Joe Carmody.

With Andrew Monaghan,Cillian Lyons and Owen Keogh prominant in defense Garrycastle were never in danger of losing the game. The second half gave the opportunity to give all the panel a run out but this did not alter the trend of the game with Garrycastle continuing to dominate.

They have now qualified for the county semi final with their opponents unknown as of yet.
