(33) 6ft 4ins; From Retreat. David has won honours at every level for
Garrycastle and captained the club to its first senior title in 2001. First
Westmeath man to lift the Delaney Cup when he led the county to its only

4ins; From Retreat. Cathal was captain of the Garrycastle team to the 2004
title. He has won Minor and Under 21 All-Irelands and National League with Westmeath. | | Karl

(33), 5ft 10ins; From Moydrum. A very capable defender, Karl was on Westmeath’s
Minor team in 1996 and captained the Garrycastle championship winning team in

| Doron Harte (28), 6ft; From Coosan. Member of the Féile winning panel
of 1995 he was captain of the 2010 championship winning side. | | Seánie O’Donoghue (29),

Park. Seánie won a
Leinster Under 21 medal in 2000. He captained the 1995 Féile winning team,
Represented Ireland in the Under 17 Compromise Rules games against Australia in 1998 |
| John Gaffey (27), 6ft; From Moydrum. John captained Garrycastle to
their 6th senior championship win in 2011. First Westmeath man to captain a club
team to win the Leinster Senior Club Football championship in 2011. | | Alan Fox (25),

like qualities. Member of the Junior B side that won the Championship in 2010. |

6ft; From Retreat. Enda holds one All-Ireland Under 21 medal as well as 6 Westmeath

5ft 10ins; From Garrycastle. A very talented and promising player who can play
in both defense and attack. He won a Fr. Manning Cup medal with Westmeath in
2006 and played for Westmeath Under 21s in 2010 and 2011. Recipient of AIT GAA

6ft; From Garnafeile. Represented Leinster in the Compromise Rules against Australia

| Dessie Dolan (32), 5ft 11ins; From Coosan. One of the best forwards in
the country. Leinster Senior and All-Star winner in 2004. Dessie was a member
of Ireland’s Compromise
Rules team that toured Australia

(29), 5 ft.10 ins; From Ardnagrath. A top-class defender, Tom played in the
winning Féile team of 1995. He also won 3 Junior B hurling titles with Southern Gaels. Another player with 6 senior championship

| Patrick Mulvihill (27), 6ft 1 in, From Coosan. An outstanding underage
player who has emerged over the past few years as a very potent attacker. Patrick
was on the Ireland U17 compromise rules team which toured Australia in

(24), 5ft 11ins; From Moydrum. In the first match of 2011 Conor kicked the
winning point to win Garrycastle’s first ever Junior B Championship. In the last
match of 2011 he kicked the winning point to win the Garrycastle’s first ever
Leinster Senior Championship. |
| Paul Dillon (28), 6ft 2 ins; From Ballymahon Rd. Paul has been with
the Garrycastle senior squad since 2000 and has 6 senior championship medals. A
great ball winner he was on the successful 1999 minor team and won an U21 championship
medal in 2001. Paul also represented Westmeath at Minor and U21 level. | | Stephen

(28), 5 ft 10ins; From Coosan. Stephen transferred to goalkeeper in 2008 and
has been a model of consistency as net minder for the Junior team in league and
championship. |
| Alan Daly (33), 5ft 8ins; From Retreat. Alan has Minor and Under 21
All-Ireland medals with Westmeath. Scored an outrageous overhead scissor kicked

(29), 6ft; From Moydrum. Padraig scored a great goal after coming on as a
substitute in the 2002 senior final. Captain of the 2010 Junior B championship
winning team in and he won a Junior A championship in 2011. |
| Seán Carey (18), 5ft 10ins; From The Elms. Seán won an All Ireland
Hurling U14 Tony Forristal with Westmeath in 2007. Seán picked up 5 Football Championship
medals in 2011: Junior B, Minor, Junior A, Senior, and Leinster Club. | | Eoin

(18), 6ft 3ins; From Coosan. A deadly accurate forward, Eoin scored the winning
goal in the 2011 Minor Premier Final, Eoin won 4 Football Championship medals in

| Rory McGowan (26), 6ft 1in; From Coosan. After a period overseas Rory
returned home and quickly re-established himself on the 2010 senior

Park. Winner
of a Div. 2 minor championship in 2006 Aidan burst onto the senior scene in
2007 as a 19 year old. Overseas for most of 2011 Aidan returned in time for the

Justin was the captain of the 2011 Minor Premier winning team. He won 4

Conor played full back on the U14 team that narrowly lost the 2003 Féile Final

Peadar played most of his underage football in defense but is now more
comfortable in attack. Peadar won a Junior A Football Championship medal with

| Justin McAteer (30), 6ft 1ins; From Castledaly. An outstanding U12 player
Justin remained loyal to Garrycastle after his family moved to Castledaly. A member
of the Westmeath panel that won Leinster in
2004 he spent much of last 2 years studying overseas. | | Robbie
Shine (30),
6ft 1 in; From Willow
Park. Robbie starred on
several underage teams including the All-Ireland Féile team of 1995 and the
minor team of 1999. He plays mostly in the attack and his accuracy has yielded
many vital scores for the club. |

From Moydrum. One of the best two-footed midfielder/forward in the club. A great

| Anthony Cunningham Team Manager; From Kiltoom. First man to captain Galway to an All-Ireland Minor Hurling title in 1983.
First man to manage St. Brigids and Garrycastle to Provincial Club Football

Veale Team
Co-ordinator; From Moydrum. Ken is the son of Jack, a founder member of the
club. Ken played in goal for Garrycastle at underage and was on the panel for
the first ever Féile na n-óg in Cavan in 1982. |

Murray Selector;
From Cornamaddy originally but now living in Moydrum. Richie holds championship
medals at both Junior and Intermediate level for Garrrycastle. He has been
involved with many Garrycastle teams as selector in recent years. | | Shay McDermott Selector; From Glynwood. A dedicated cub member Shay
played regularly in Garrycastle’s league success in 1981 and Junior
championship victory in 1982. |

Dunning Selector;
From Baylin. Aidan gave great service to Caulry over recent years winning county
titles at Junior and Intermediate levels. Also played for Westmeath at Senior
