Girls Feile 2016 - Update

[Update Sunday] The Garrycastle Girls Under-14 team bowed out of the Division 5 Cup at the semi-final stage this afternoon, after a spirited display against the eventual winners, the Dr. Crokes club from Killarney. The final score was Garrycastle 0-3, Dr. Crokes 1-4. 

Huge congratulations are due to this talented squad who did their club proud in this years Féile. Well done to all the players, mentors, parents and supporters involved with this years Féile side!

[Saturday] The Garrycastle Girls Under-14 team are in action in Kerry this weekend for the 2016 Girls Féile Peil na nÓg. 
The Garrycastle girls were drawn in Division 5, Group B, alongside Edendork from Tyrone, St. Senans from Limerick and Monagea, also from Limerick. 
The Garrycastle girls started with a draw against the Edendork team, before pushing on to take wins against Monagea and their host team, St. Senans.  These results saw the girls into the Cup Semi-final, where they met Kilcummin from Kerry. 

A spirited display against the Kerry side saw the Garrycastle girls win and qualify for the Cup semi-final, where they will face Dr. Crokes from Tralee in Blennerville at 11am on Sunday morning. 

Huge congratulations to the girls themselves and everyone involved with the team on the achievements so far, and the very best of luck to the girls in their semi final!
