Congratulations to Seamus Nugent who won the Hall of Fame award in the recent Westmeath Independent Sports Award. This was well deserved award for a man who has been a Garrycastle stalwart since the foundation of the club and as a player starred for Westmeath  and for the Athlone six in a row championship winning teams in the late 50 s/early 60s.

Well done Seamus.
